I'm always hearing on the television about Arizona passing laws against illegal aliens. I want to ask someone what is the definition of the word illegal alien? I ask this because I have also seen on the history channel a documentary on space aliens and they are referred to as aliens. Now wouldn't it be more correct to call the space aliens, illegal aliens since they are not of this world? Just a thought.

Now let's talk about unemployment and how we seem to be so concerned with helping other nations develope their economy and have forgotten about reviving our own. We are the leading nation when it comes to reaching out and helping others. So lets stop helping others and help our own citizens who are losing their homes and losing all their life savings, but have no job and seems like nothing is being done to help them. We send everything over seas and we have nothing made in America anymore. The almighty dollar bill has become worth nothing on a world level and things are only gonna get worse. What happened to the old saying "Charity starts at home" lets start helping each other and get back to being the best nation in the world. Just a thought.

One more thought before I close. I grew up believing that we help our neighbors because what they go through will affect us also. I looked on the world map on my desk and seen Mexico is our closest neighbor. We share a continient with them not the North or South American continient but the American continient. Yet we have so many people trying to keep our neighbors out, but are willing to allow people from the other side of world to come in. I looked up the names of the men who flew planes into the Twin Towers on Sept. 11th and I don't recall reading a name of one single Mexican on the list. I have read about crimes committed by Mexicans in this country but not one was an act of terror toward a group of people with hopes of wiping them off the face of the Earth. Our country was discovered by a European explorer is the story told to us. How could this man discover something that already exsisted to other people? American became the place people came to make a better life for themselves and land was taken from the indians then just like jobs are being taken from Americans now. What makes these actions so wrong now but are celebrated by us for what took place back then. It seems ironic when you think about it Americans are mad at the so called illegal aliens for taking American jobs but Americans were the ones who took all this land we call the United States from the Indians.I guess history really does repeat itself or what goes around comes around. Just a thought.
